Senior Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a very interesting and stimulating internship. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is hybrid with 4 days per week at the office (Saint-Laurent).This role is contributing to the Electrification, Smart Buildings division of ABB and is located in Saint-Laurent.Responsibilities:•\tPrepare drawings package for vendors.•\tAnalyse materials and define manufacturing parameters.•\tValidate materials status under engineering change process.•\tPrepare 2D drawings for vendors.•\tPrepare drawings package for manufacturing.•\tSupport production for various inquiries.•\tValidate non-conformities.
Qualifications for the roleStudent in 2nd or 3rd year of Mechanical Engineering Bachelor.Knowledge of Creo 3D: an asset.Knowledge of Windchill PLM: an asset.Knowledge of SAP: an asset.Good communication skills and able to work independently.
