As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be involved in developing and improving our production facility which includes mixing, processing, and packaging machines as well as a purification and processing facility at Wellspect, Kahramankazan, Ankara. You will be directly reporting to Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Monitor the mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance and overhauling work activities to ensure safe and efficient application of procedures by using Preventive Maintenance module and implementation of optimal mechanical maintenance Ensure that all documentation is completed in maintenance management system correctly such as the log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labor and materials used Manage the timely response to all emergency breakdowns and provide prompt corrective action to ensure plant availability, thereby minimizing downtime Develop and promoting a condition based preventive maintenance culture on day to day basis by conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis, breakdown analysis and find solutions to reduce reactive maintenance Perform routine checks on work undertaken by technicians to ensure the required levels of quality are being met and within agreed budget forecasts Prepare technical specifications (CR, URS, RFI etc.) for the machines and equipment in the scope of projects and investments Keep track of KPI's (Downtime/Unit energy consumptions etc.) in responsibility areas Organize and supervise the subcontractors by means HSE precautions in the plant and supported work permit process Organization of blue-collar workers in maintenance workshop Manage necessary spare parts and maintenance consumables with purchasing & stocking responsible Follow and report on plant sustainability targets and to lead energy efficiency projects Build and manage effective business relationships with suppliers
Qualification / Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required Minimum 3 years’ experience preferably in medical industry especially in manufacturing Experience in auxiliary facilities (Boilers, Compressors, HVACs, Water Treatment Systems etc.) is a plus Knowledge of maintenance management methods, of predictive inspection tools Excellent command of written & spoken English Good command of MS Office programs Experience in technical 3D drawing software (AutoCAD Inventory, SolidWorks etc.) Knowledgeable in ERP Preventive Maintenance module Experience work in ATEX Environment is a plus Strong communication and coordination skills Good problem solving, planning and follow up abilities for a sustainable relationship with suppliers Teamwork oriented with multiple stakeholders No military obligation for male candidates
