You’ll work on solutions that will enable seamless access and help keep you and your loved ones safe and secure where they work, live and thrive.** **What You Will Do** : + Work with all manufacturing disciplines in a team environment with good understanding of cross functional design processes (high focus on interactions with Product Management, Quality and Process Engineering) + Develop required design documentation, 3D models/drawings, and instructions for manufacturing and product test requirements. Experience with Creo is a plus. + Creation of technical product specifications, interaction with engineering change management system, and/or process development/enhancements. + Utilize engineering tools ( Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, Tolerance Stack Analysis & DFM/DFA) to ensure that requirement risks are evaluated and mitigated early in the design process. + Ensure designs meet system requirements through proper verification methods. **What you need to succeed** : + BS in Mechanical Engineering. + 0-2 years of experience in the design, development, implementation, and integration of mechanical products. + Experience with Creo, Solidworks, Windchill is a plus + Experience with manufacturing processes such as die casting, aluminum extruding, investment casting, powdered metal, stampings, injection molded plastics, machining is a plus + Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, with various team members in roles that are both technical and non-technical. + An upbeat, positive attitude and have a passion for excellence and willingness to be curious beyond the obvious. + Proficiency with engineering tools including Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, Tolerance Stack Analysis & DFM/DFA is a plus **Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:**   + You're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
