We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Antenna System Integration to join our expert team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in shaping the next generation of base station antennas by analyzing mechanical and environmental requirements, driving standardization, and ensuring compliance with top industry standards.
What you will do
Analyze mechanical and environmental requirements and verification processes for base station antennas and remote radio productsInvestigate opportunities for cost and time optimization in design and productionUpdate and simplify current templates and documents to support standardizationDefine mechanical requirement documents for antenna systems and assist project teams in achieving complianceSupport EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and LVD (Low Voltage Directive) risk assessments for base station antennas
The skills you bring
Expertise in selecting and designing with materials such as metals, PCBs, dielectrics, and foilsSolid understanding of mechanical design principles and high-performance component integrationProven experience in mechanical designStrong knowledge of industry standards (IEC, NEBS, UL, etc.)Familiarity with product safety standards is a plusExperience working within interdisciplinary teamsCollaborative team spirit and solution-oriented mindsetStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills in both English and German
