Job Description

​ What will you work on?

Responsible for the European and Asian manufacturing sites of the AAT product lines for mechanical components and assemblies.  Support of manufacturing sites in case of technical problemsIndependently coordination of reviewing, processing, and related recordkeeping of engineering change requests/orders (ECR/ECO), BOM updates and drawing change requests using Solidworks.Collaboration with mechanical/electronic development teams on value engineering projects as well as compliance on safety-related issues (CAPA, QDB, VE projects, etc.)Evaluation of First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)Drives continuous supplier management improvement with procedures, processes, policies and quality assurance methodologies such as: new material qualification, end of life materials/components, product development process, supplier requests for material changes and sustaining engineeringOrganization and supervision of the transition of new products from development into series production.

What skills are needed for the position?Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field is preferred. Equivalent education and experience can be substituted.3+ years of relevant experience in a similar functionExperience in using one of the common 3D CAD systems (ideally Solid Works + DB Works)Knowledge in analytical instrumentation is an advantageAdvanced English knowledge (daily use)Strong communication and good social skills with all levelsCurious, reliable, independent, and collaborative working styleInnovative, creative, and effective teammate
