Mechanical Engineer P.Eng
We are excited to partner with our client, a highly respected consulting engineering firm based in Oakville, Ontario, to identify a driven and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join their growing Mechanical Engineering department. This is a full-time, on-site role that offers a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative solutions for a variety of high-impact projects. Reporting to the Mechanical Department Manager, your responsibilities will include:Conducting engineering calculations, detailed designs, and producing drawings using Bluebeam (Revu) and AutoCAD.Performing on-site surveys and precise measurements for both new and retrofit mechanical construction projects.Completing condition assessments and preparing comprehensive reports on existing building mechanical systems.Contributing to a wide range of projects, including:Rail and Bus InfrastructureEmergency Services facilities (police, fire, ambulance)Schools and UniversitiesCommunity CentersOffice BuildingsLaboratoriesVarious Municipal, Provincial, and Federal facilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and review of HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, heat pumps, fans, RTUs, MAUs) as well as plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and specialty mechanical systems (e.g., refrigeration, fuel supply/storage).Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, innovative engineering solutions.Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and client specifications.Provide technical expertise and field-based solutions to support project execution.Qualifications and RequirementsA Certified Engineering degree and Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation are mandatory.At least 5 years of experience in engineering and design, particularly with building mechanical systems.Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu.Strong technical skills and familiarity with industry-specific software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits.Ideal Candidate ProfileThrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.Demonstrates strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Possesses experience across diverse mechanical systems and infrastructure projects.Displays leadership potential with an interest in advancing to a Managerial role and eventually earning an equity position within the company.Compensation and Benefits
