 Senior:

 Estimated annual base pay:  $92,800.00 (minimum) - $116,000.00 (midpoint) - $139,200.00 (maximum)

 Staff:

 Estimated annual base pay:  $114,400.00 (minimum) - $143,000.00 (midpoint) - $171,600.00 (maximum)

All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity

Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re a Senior or Staff Engineer Mechanical, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

The Senior Engineer, Mechanical, and the Staff Engineer, Mechanical, both report to the Engineering Leader but have distinct responsibilities and levels of independence. The Senior Engineer independently evaluates, selects, and adapts engineering techniques and works under moderate to low supervision, seeking guidance on novel problems. This role may also build project-specific relationships with Customers and Suppliers. In contrast, the Staff Engineer focuses on product design, mentoring, process improvements, and strategic planning, working with minimal supervision. The Staff Engineer has extensive industry and Customer contact, participates in enterprise negotiations, and evaluates new opportunities within the PLC process.

What you will be doing…

Senior:

Plans, schedules and coordinates detailed phases of a project.

Devises new approaches to problems encountered.

Participates in and promotes process improvements within assigned areas.

Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but includes a variety of complex features, such as conflicting design requirements, non-standard materials and difficult coordination requirements.

Provides direct support of sales and development by sharing information in the form of proposals and design reviews

Independently troubleshoots/analyzes component/system problems.

Independently writes and performs component tests.

Dispositions hardware with minimum supervision.

Sets technical direction on projects to level 1 and 2 Engineers.

Staff:

Plans, schedules and coordinates detailed phases of a major project or in a total project system of moderate scope.

May carry out complex or novel research assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.

Promotes and implements process improvements company-wide. May write product standard design guidelines.

Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but includes a variety of complex features, such as conflicting design requirements, non-standard materials and difficult coordination requirements.

Provides direct support of sales and development by sharing information in the form of major/complex proposals and design reviews.

Independently troubleshoots/analyzes system problems.

Independently writes and performs complex component tests.

Dispositions hardware independently.

Sets technical direction on complex projects to level 1-3 Engineers.

What we are looking for…

Senior:

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering required

Greater than 4 years experience in related field or entry level PhD degree required. required

 Staff:

US – Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering required

Greater than 8 years' experience in related field, including post-graduate experience required
