GE Healthcare ME Engineering co-ops work on a variety of assignments with responsibilities and hands-on involvement in product design cycles. There will be project-oriented assignments where a manager and mentor are assigned for support. These positions will work primarily with Anesthesia and Respiratory Care (ARC) products.

Job Description

Position Description:
ME engineering co-ops utilize 3D modeling, CAD tools, and technical documentation skills to verify, test and document new product(s) as well as support design changes throughout the product lifecycle.

ME engineering co-ops interact with cross-functional teams to understand design and business constraints. They take initiative, manage projects, and communicate effectively to drive business outcomes.

This Co-Op role is for Spring/Summer 2025.

Basic Qualifications:

3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (in a 4.0 scale)High self-confidenceExcellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple termsDemonstrated analytical ability and technical competency in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering disciplinesProven leadership skills and experienceStrong initiative and ability to work independently and within teamsAble to work for a minimum of 28 weeksMust be currently in or be willing to relocate to position locationMust be a full-time student pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering)
