Mechanical Engineering Co-op (Jan. 2025-Aug. 2025)

Based at our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will get the opportunity to work as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op on a team that will help you to grow & develop as an engineer. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) Co-Op position starting in January 2025 and ending August 2025.

As An Engineering Co-op, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Work directly with a Lead Mechanical Engineer on new product and continuation development. Develop CAD models/drawings and prototype using 3D printing and machining. Execute prototype testing for integrity and environmental conditions. Discover and explore new interests in your field prior to graduation. Apply learned technical skills from the classroom to real world engineering projects.

You are open to change and continue to learn and experience new opportunities.   For This Role, You Will Need: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (junior or senior status preferred)  Zero (0) years of related experience  Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) in-person (Eden Prairie, MN) Legal authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Knowledge of CAD systems, Solidworks preferred Understanding of basic Machining/3D printing principles Basic knowledge of material properties (materials science) Understanding of GD&T Ability to use Matlab and Ansys Workbench FEA
