Job Description

The Buildings+Places division of AECOM is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate for employment out of the Kitchener, ON office.

This is a full-time role expected to begin as soon as possible.

 

Major responsibilities include but not limited to:

A key member of the mechanical design team participating in design and construction administration of various facilities, including occasional out-of-town travelDesign of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC systemsPerform Energy and HVAC calculations and analysis using industry programs (i.e. Carrier HAP)Ability to use and create excel spreadsheets to assist with calculations and analysisAssist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 2D AutoCAD and MicroStationAssist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 3D such as REVITMust be able to prepare written reports and deliver results in a clear manner to technical or non-technical personsStrong communication skills, spoken and writtenExperienced at using computers and utilizing Windows, e-mail, internet, MS Word, and ExcelAble to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Will be completing or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Requirements:

Prior experience working for a consulting engineering firm a strong assetKnowledge of REVIT and/or MicroStation considered a strong asset
