Significant interaction with an Engineering Mentor and the Engineering Manager is expected. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Document designs using 3D solid (SolidWorks and/or OnShape) and 2D drafting software (AutoCAD). + Evaluate weight and balance issues for road worthiness and crane stability. + Assist Manufacturing Engineering with development of work orders. + Maintain revision control on drawings and other controlled documents. + Generate manuals for designed equipment as required. + Data entry for Product Data Management system. **REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS** + Pursuing bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline + Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to write emails and other correspondence. + Must also possess the ability to speak effectively with other employees. **PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS** + Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, OnShape, Inventor, AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc + Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word **Working Conditions** + Required to sit for lengthy periods of time. + Occasional work on the shop floor testing products, speaking with technicians and diagnosing issues. **Physical Requirements** + Regularly using a computer and monitor. + Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25 pounds or more and working with general hand tools.
