EchoStar has exciting opportunities for Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Internships - Summer 2025 in a wide range of disciplines in our Hughes Network Systems division. These positions will be located in your Germantown, MD office and roughly 20 miles from Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
Mechanical Engineering Intern—Design, Model, Prototype and Test electronic packaging solutions for ground-based Satellite Communication user terminals.PCB Electrical Design Engineer—Create circuit board designs by learning placement and routing guidelines for high-speed digital and RF circuitry used in satellite communication equipment products. Create board assemblies & interface with our Manufacturing solder lines for production.Component Electrical Engineer—Seek commercial and custom part designs for latest generation electronic packaging technologies. Support the Hardware Engineers by supplying datasheets, REACH/ROHS information, and Certificate of Conformities. Review Specification Control and Source Control documents to improve designs.Design Automation Engineer—Interface with Hardware Engineers & collaborate with their toolsets and design data. Create & innovate software scripts to automate tasks, workflows, and data aggregation methods.Compliance Engineer—Simulated and Analyze circuit board designs for Signal Integrity and Power Integrity. Test Hughes products for EMC/EMI/UL-Safety performance. Create design improvements to deliver robust margins in production.Basic Requirements
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program3.0 GPA or above60 credit hours or more#LI-LT1
