The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program. **_Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship._** **The Role:** In this role, you will: + Use CAD software to design manufacturing aids and other tools for 3D printing. + Support 3D printing requests from multiple parties and troubleshoot issues. + Implement lean manufacturing principles throughout the design and production process. + Participate in LEAP Intern events and activities. **Who You Are:** + You constantly ask questions and love learning. + You re constantly updating your to-do list and planning ahead. + You are always looking for ways to do things better and faster. + You re a good judge of how long projects take to complete, and always alert others if things get off track. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + U.S. Citizenship. + Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program. + Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently. + Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. + Excellent team player who is willing to contribute and learn. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Proficient in Microsoft Office products. + Experience with CAD software (Creo, Solidworks, etc.). + Experience with 3D printing. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $48620 - $65670 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
