Opportunity Overview 

 

Litepoint (a Teradyne company) is looking for a summer 2025 intern to help build Engineering prototypes, support the release of Mechanical design products' documentation structure, and do revision control.

 

The summer intern will:

 

Use SolidWorks CAD to perform modeling, assemblies, and drawings. Research off-shelf Mechanical or electro-mechanical components. Design, model, and detail of parts and assemblies. Understand LitePoint Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) requirements and prepare to release Engineering documents and Bills of Material (BOMs)

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent (must be currently enrolled). Knowledge of ANSI drafting standards and GD&T. Knowledge of SolidWorks. Professional PDM is a plus. Knowledge of Heat transfer and ready for laboratory experiments and tests. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Must be available to work on-site at Litepoint in San Jose, CA during the Summer of 2025
