The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $104,250 - 152,900 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Own project performance of direct engineering teamProvide prompt coaching and guidance to help ensure project successesEnsure project targets are met for quality, on-time delivery, and cost. Build cross-location and cross-department partnerships to develop consistent standards for program growth and stabilityDevelop team engagement and team visibility throughout Dematic and within key customersCreate and maintain a feedback loop (lessons learned, project variances…etc.) between project execution and solution development teams to continually respond to customer expectations, grow a better working environment for the team, and increase Dematic’s profitabilityDrive continuous improvement and lean initiatives within the Project Engineering groupEmpower team to promote and own a culture of continuous improvementDevelop team and individual goals that align with strategic plan and achieving larger group goalsIncrease awareness of team’s role and responsibility in achieving strategic goalsRecommend changes and improvements where appropriateWhat We are Looking For:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field of engineeringAt least (6) years of material handling industry or related experienceEngineering management and/or team leadership experience preferredMechanical equipment operation or ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systemsAbility to work individually and under minimal supervision in remote, office, and customer site environmentsKnowledge of CAD design software including AutoCADExperience with Dematic RCD strongly preferredExperience with Dematic’s CET Designer Software (Maestro) strongly preferredAbility to solve complex design issues and implement effective and cost-efficient solutionsProven communications skills, flexibility, and willingness to work as part of a team of solution-oriented professionalsDemonstrated stand-up presentation skills, group facilitation, and ability to effectively interact with customersExcellent leadership, teamwork, influencing, mentoring, and interpersonal skillsExcellent organization, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skillsMaintaining accurate and detailed recordsUnderstanding and following directionsWorking under pressure, meeting inflexible deadlines, and maintaining composureTravels up to 25% to different customer or Dematic locationsCapable of providing technical assistance to support staff and other employeesPositively represent the organization as an internal contact and a key customer-facing external contactApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
