This role provides hands-on experience in supporting production processes, driving engineering projects, and contributing to quality and reliability improvements. Key Responsibilities: + Collaborate with engineers and product leaders to support daily operations and ongoing projects. + Develop and update work instructions, test procedures, and test plans. + Assist in optimizing production processes and parameters for new technologies and materials. + Support failure investigations and implement solutions to improve product reliability. + Lead and participate in engineering projects, including cost reduction initiatives and production floor changes. + Create detailed engineering drawings and 3D models for parts and assemblies. + Contribute to new technology implementation and collaborate with sub-contractors on production line enhancements. + Maintain adherence to safety policies and contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork. Requirements: + 2nd or 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering student. + Availability to work at least three full working days a week in Kiryat Gat. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SolidWorks experience is highly advantageous. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using engineering principles. + Very good command of English and Hebrew. + Creative, hands-on, and team-oriented mindset with a proactive, "can-do" attitude. + Interest in manufacturing technologies and willingness to learn about plastics processes (e.g., extrusion, compounding, or injection molding).
