RBC AeroComponents is a division of RBC Bearings and manufactures precision machined components servicing the aerospace industry, specializing in “hard to machine” materials. The MET position is a 1-year rotational program that offers a deep dive into every aspect of the organization, which allows new graduates to immerse themselves in the fast-paced aerospace manufacturing industry. This both builds a well-rounded understanding of the organization for the MET as well as allows management to identify their strengths through a diversified project arrangement. High-level process and system development is the comprehensive focus of the position.

Responsibilities

Work with the NPI (new process implementation) team to build system to advance their capabilities Develop systems to extract, track, and analyze real time CNC machine data Develop 3D modeled CNC machine environments Develop and implement systems to track and improve tooling consumption Work with NPI (new process implementation) Team to develop tooling libraries Carry out work studies to improve operational KPIs Develop process work instructions, workmanship standards, and process documents Investigate operational problems affecting production and recommend solutions Work closely with relevant departments to plan and implement continuous improvement projects

Requirements

BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology MS Excel Experience 3D modelling experience (recommended Solidworks experience)
