Mechanical Estimator Halifax, NS Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual looking for a new opportunity with an exciting company?

Our client in the HVAC industry is looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their team in Halifax. We encourage both junior and senior candidates to apply! The Mechanical Estimator will identify bidding opportunities, assess technical aspects to prepare estimates, create and submit bid proposals to vendors and subcontractors, and follow up on recent bids. They will also attend meetings with clients and internal teams to ensure project success. They are able to adapt and problem solve, and to work with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, and experience in the HVAC industry and with estimation are assets. The ability to multitask and prioritize, effectively manage time, and meet RFI deadlines are critical to this role. Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are also required, to better build relationships with clients and contractors.
