Confluence Water, the Ventia, Downer and Jacobs joint venture, is one of three consortia delivering services under Sydney Water’s Partnering for Success program. Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water’s North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

 

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance team and work on the Sydney Water Treatment Plant maintenance and minor projects at the North Head Sydney Water Site at Manly. You will be maintaning essential infrastructure and troubleshooting a diverse range of mechanical equipment. This is a long term program of works offering job stability and the opportunity for training and career progression. We are ideally looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanical Fitter who is happy to work at North Head, Manly and some other sites North of Sydney Harbour.

 

ABOUT YOU 

Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Mechanical Trade  Work Safely at Heights Enter Confined Space  Provide First Aid   Able to execute work tasks with minimal supervision.  

Desirable Skills 

Flange Management Elevated Work Platform  Tubing & Fitting (Install/Inspect) High Risk Work Licence – Dogging (DG) Competent in core elements required for the discipline and demonstrated experience in some site-specific tasks  Mechanical pump and motor experience Hydraulic/air valve experience Mechanical control systems
