Shutdown dates:
Pre shutdown – Commences on the 21st March (12-hour days) Main shutdown – Commences on the 1st June (12-hour days)

About Ventia:
Ventia is seeking experienced & qualified Mechanical Fitters. This casual role will see you engaged on periodic campaign maintenance, grouped/batched maintenance programs, as well as completing both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance. The casual position will see you working FIFO out of Perth as part of the initial Barrow Island team and partake in future LNG works as opportunities arise to join future shutdowns.
What you’ll need:
Essential
White card Mechanical Fitter Qualification Operate breathing apparatus valid withing 3 yearsDesirable
Provide First Aid Industry Safety Induction Work safely at heights valid within 3 years
What you will bring:
Hands on experience in maintenance and fault finding Familiarity with hydrocarbon production systems Experience in Flange management, torquing & hydraulic tensioning Expertise in gas compression and power generation systems Safety – first mindset following safety protocols and hazard procedures
