Job Description:

Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at the supplier’s facility to verify compliance with drawings, standards/specifications, and other PO requirementsVerify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of precision mechanical inspection experience is requiredStrong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&TAbility to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a mustExperience working with tight tolerancesHands-on mechanical inspection experienceMust have experience working with Mil-standardsPrevious source inspection experienceWill be working as an independent contractor (1099).Must have LLC/DBA or able to obtain an LLC/DBA
