Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking a Mechanical Inspector-A1/B1 to join their team. The ideal candidate will have - experience in measurement for inspections, will have experience in automated routines with smartscope-EXPERIENCE in a CLEAN ROOM is a MUST
**Job Title:** Mechanical Inspector-day shift 630am to 630pm
**Location:** Salt Lake City, UT
**Pay Range:** 21/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform quality inspections of sub-assemblies, final products, and commodities, ensuring adherence to specifications.
+ Utilize hand gauges for precise measurements and inspections.
+ Recognize and communicate deviations from accepted quality practices.
+ Create robust inspection plans and routines for molded components and validations.
+ Conduct First Article and Validation Inspections, and analyze statistical data using SPC software.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ **A minimum of 4 years of experience performing measurement inspections in an FDA regulated manufacturing environment.**
+ Strong knowledge of Plastic Processing and cGMP.
+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with SPC software.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and specifications meticulously.
