In this role, you will be responsible for verifying the quality and integrity of mechanical systems, components, and installations, ensuring they meet industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, components, and installations to verify compliance with industry best practices and project requirements; Document inspection findings and maintain detailed records to support quality control and project reporting; Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and client representatives to address any issues or deviations from specifications; Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example in driving safe construction practices on site; Utilize effective project management and control systems to regularly report on progress and ensure timely project delivery; Review contractor method statements, evaluate claims, and contribute to design reviews to enhance constructability and mitigate risks; Mentor junior members of the construction supervision team, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional development.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector in the power plant sector, preferably with exposure to solar PV and battery energy storage systems Registered Mechanical Engineer with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license Strong technical knowledge of industry standards and mechanical engineering codes Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
