Job Duties

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Installers & Assemblers to support the final phase of a new Warehouse distribution center being built in Virginia Beach. This role involves a lot of physical activity, including standing and walking all day, as well as using pallet jacks to move products and materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, handling inventory, and performing light housekeeping task.Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday Pay: $24.00/hr

Responsibilities

Hand off pods to the Loading/Unloading teamUse pallet jacks to move products from one place to anotherLoad and unload trucks of material and suppliesPerform light housekeeping tasksAssist with inventory managementRemain on feet 100% of the day and lift objects to move them around

This position offers the opportunity to help launch a large Amazon Robotics Distribution Center in Virginia Beach. The role is well-compensated to offset the 6 month contract length, providing a rewarding short-term opportunity.

Work Environment

The work environment is currently in the construction phase as the facility is being completed. This includes a construction work environment with port-a-putties and non-climate controlled conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
