Opportunity Snapshot:
Compensation: $35-45/hourLocation: Carlsbad, NMWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Assignment Duration: 12 monthsBenefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401K, PTO and Holidays Responsibilities Perform equipment inspections. Evaluate inspection results, develops run/repair/replace recommendations, and work with Client MI Inspector and Inspection Leader to monitor inspection findings/recommendations.Provide QA/QC for new projects and maintenance repairs in Permian production areas (shop and field) – weld procedure/qualifications, NDE, pressure testingConducts pre-commissioning inspections of new and reconditioned vessels and tanks to confirm internal coating and assembly qualityWork closely with MI/Corrosion engineers in the identification of active and potential corrosion mechanisms as well as their mitigation, control and monitoring requirementsInspect facilities under SPCC jurisdiction for equipment conditions that could become a source of leaks/spills Qualifications Bachelors or Advanced degree in Engineering or Science preferredExperience executing project construction or quality assurance/control of procurement or construction activitiesExperience in the Oil & Gas industry in a project Quality Management supervisory roleManufacturing, fabrication or construction experience related to project scopeRecent experience in selected inspection disciplineWilling and able to business travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites to provide various levels of supportMust be proficient in common PC software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)Read, write and speak fluent English with strong management, leadership and communication skills
