We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Estimator with a focus in Sheet Metal Estimation to join our Mechanical Department in our Carlsbad, CA office. This position will be responsible for preparing cost estimates alongside our Mechanical Pre-Construction team. This should all be done with accuracy and in within the time allotted by the Mechanical Estimating Department processes. Local candidates (to San Diego) will be given priority. \n

Requirements are as follows:\n\nA high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required.\nTen (10) or more years of work experience in mechanical estimating at the subcontractor level is required. Sheet Metal experience preferred.\nConceptual and Hard-Bid estimating \nComputer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.) \nSpecific software literacy (On-Screen Take Off, Adobe Reader, etc.) \nPrevious work experience in the construction design-build industry, including work with contractors and subcontractors in public markets is preferred.\n\n
