What You Will Be Doing as a Mechanical Maintenance Planner/Supervisor:
Day to day work order planning, ordering parts, and ensuring parts are kitted for the Maintenance Technicians
Ensuring proper lead times if special equipment, and repair procedures need to be accounted for
Prioritizing work orders in queue for planning, scheduling, and execution
Partner closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to assist with planned outages, large maintenance projects, and coordinating with the mill on repairs to avoid major shutdowns and downtime
Participate in maintenance budgeting and department business planning - Maintains 3 week look-ahead plans & plans shutdown work
Creates Gantt schedules using MS-Project for all shutdown work
What You Bring To The Table:
Minimum of 2-5 years of maintenance planning and project coordination and 2-3 years supervisory experience (preferably within a pulp and paper mill environment
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, industrial safety procedures, & 2 years experience with MAPCON, MAXIMO, EMPAC or SAP
Ability to track/measure performance utilizing TQM
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals and blueprints, and create work orders
Familiarity with industrial maintenance planning, scheduling outages and major projects, coordinating timelines with multiple departments
Experience maintaining and improving mechanical predictive / preventive maintenance systems
