Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in maintaining and optimizing a wide range of critical heavy equipment. In this role, you will oversee the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of complex systems including gas turbines, steam turbines, industrial boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and other essential machinery. You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling daily work activities and managing the on-call rotation for mechanical maintenance personnel. Working closely with the Utilities Maintenance Manager, you will help develop and implement a robust Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program grounded in industry standards, historical data, and predictive analytics. Additionally, you will prepare cost estimates, material requisitions, and manpower plans for major equipment repairs and capital projects. This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise and strategic planning will directly contribute to the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our operations

Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.

This position is located in College Station, TX. Remote/Work from alternate location is not available at this time.
Required Education/Experience:
+ High school or GED
+ Four years of related industrial mechanical maintenance experience which includes supervisory experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Strong supervisory skills and organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
+ Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to communicate with stakeholders and clients.
+ Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Required Licenses and Certifications
+ Valid class C driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Ten years or more experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
+ Experience in industrial engineering.
+ Certified Vibration Analyst.
+ Aptitude in mechanical maintenance (pump, boilers, etc.)
+ Predictive maintenance certifications (lubrication, ultrasound, etc.).
+ Certification or experience in occupational safety and health.
+ Experience working in a utility or industrial plant.
Opportunities to contribute:
+ Directs and oversees the preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, and repair of various types of heavy equipment such as gas turbines, turbine/generators, industrial boilers, chillers, pump, colling towers, steam turbines, and all associated equipment.
+ Schedules the work activities and on-call schedule of the mechanical maintenance shop personnel.
+ Develops a Preventative/Predictive Maintenance Plan based on industry standards, equipment history, and data obtained from predictive analysis in collaboration with the Utilities Maintenance Manager.
+ Prepares cost estimates, material requisitions and manpower requirements for large equipment repairs and projects.
+ Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting accidents and unsafe working conditions, uses proper personal protective equipment, follows safety procedures outlined in Material Safety Data Sheets, and participates in safety training
