**Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician** **Pay:$20R-$41HR** **Job Description** We are seeking experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our team. You will support a specific area of our plant, which includes cold mill, hot mill, cast house, element 13, or roll shop. You will work in a heavy industrial environment, handling large equipment with tight tolerances. Precision and attention to detail are crucial. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment installations. + Work with rolling mills, conveyors, CNC machines, casting equipment, and furnaces. + Troubleshoot issues to the component level and develop repair plans on-site. + Handle hydraulics and pneumatics systems. **Essential Skills** + Experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting. + Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with hydraulics and pneumatics. + Ability to perform maintenance and repair work on industrial equipment. + Experience with conveyor systems, extrusion, casting, and aluminum extrusion. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2-year degree preferred but not required. + 5-10 years of experience in an industrial setting. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers excellent benefits and opportunities for growth. Conditions can be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. You may work around furnaces, which increase the heat. The campus is large, spanning hundreds of acres, but you will be assigned to a specific department where you will remain. There is a union in one department (Element 13), but the rest of maintenance is non-union. The site is tobacco-free and no jewelry is permitted.
