Mechanical Package Engineer

Our client, a globally leading EPC, is looking for an EPC Mechanical Package Engineer on an initial one-year contract outside IR35. The role of a Mechanical Package Engineer is to provide the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge and perform the work listed. This position will support the Area Lead or Lead on assigned or will evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques to a medium set of relatively difficult assignments.  
The role of a Mechanical Package Engineer is: Check and perform calculations, specify equipment and solve engineering problems Participate in equipment and material procurement, permitting and subcontracting activities   Review and develop specifications, including design criteria Apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques to develop the most cost-effective total project solution for execution of the discipline engineering work Review vendor equipment documentation and compliance with project requirements Analyse and make independent recommendations regarding arising problems Qualifications and requirements Relevant engineering degree Good functional safety knowledge 10+ years experience as a Mechanical Engineer To apply for this opportunity please contact Cara Marshall at cara.marshall@trsstaffing.com or apply via the link below.
