Responsibilities:

Oversee work of the mechanical and piping crews on the construction site Ensure mechanical and piping installations are completed according to project plans, specifications, and safety standards Review and interpret mechanical and piping drawings, schematics, and technical documents Develop and maintain schedules for mechanical and piping work activities Communicating regularly with project managers, engineers, and other trade leads to ensure work is progressing on schedule Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with the mechanical and piping scopes of work Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mechanical and piping crews Monitor and enforce safety protocols for the mechanical and piping teams Track labor, material, and equipment usage for the mechanical and piping work Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and documentation as required

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. 10+ years of experience as a mechanical & piping in construction field. Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping systems, materials, and installation methods. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schematics. Proficient in project scheduling and coordination. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices. Certification or license in a relevant mechanical/piping trade is preferred.
