Mechanical Planning Lead
Mechanical Planning Lead- Skelleftea 

To €100,000 DOE + Living Allowance + Rotation + Package  

We are assisting a top-tier engineering contractor specialising in delivering high-quality services for a variety of industries in their search for a detail oriented Mechanical Planning Lead to oversee and coordinate the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of mechanical work of Battery Plant project. As a Mechanical Planning Lead you will be developing detailed project plans, tracking progress, managing resources, and ensuring that all mechanical activities align with project timelines and budgets. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:   

Develop and manage detailed mechanical project plans by creating and maintaining project schedules, ensuring that all activities are logically sequenced and aligned with overall project timelines.  

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently & meet the project demands.  

Serve as the primary point of contact for all planning-related matters, facilitating communication between the project team, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders ensuring that all parties are informed of project status, changes, and critical milestones.  

Identify potential risks and challenges that could impact project timelines or budgets to eliminate/minimise delays and ensure the successful delivery of projects. 

Monitor the progress of projects, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting relevant issues, risks, and corrective actions.  

Ensure that all planning and execution activities adhere to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. 

Participate in meetings as required and contribute to the best of your knowledge. 

Degree/qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 

8+ years of experience in project planning, managing large-scale projects in M&E contracting. 

5+ years Primavera P6 software experience is desirable.  

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC is desirable.  

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on proactive risk management and issue resolution.
