Role: Mechanical Technician/Level 3 HVAC/Plumber
Role OverviewMulti-disciplinary position supporting facilities management at London client sitesFocuses on day-to-day maintenance and operation of plant equipment within a multi-skilled engineering teamKey Responsibilities:Reading blueprints and examining surfaces to determine work requirementsEnsuring site operation complies with local legislationAdhering to the Maintenance Management systemConducting small installation works and repairsPerforming planned maintenance activitiesMaintaining plant and utilitiesProviding technical support for projectsManaging work orders and change control notificationsImplementing safety procedures (e.g., Permits to Work, Lock Out/Tag Out)Managing Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS)Updating documentation and drawingsCollaborating in cross-trainingMaintaining a clean and safe workspaceCommunicating and reporting to the line managerManaging sub-contractors when requiredWorking Conditions:5-day work week with shift-based structure (7am-4pm / 3pm-10pm)Overtime opportunities - weekend, late shifts, or bank holiday workOn-call duties and emergency call-outs may be requiredPossibility of working at other sites within the contractQualifications and Skills:Level 3 mechanical or Plumbing/HVAC qualification requiredPrevious experience in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environmentAbility to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a teamKnowledge of industry trends and interest in facilities managementStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFluency in English (both written and spoken)Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations for corporate sites
