Mechanical Project Engineer 1

As a Mechanical Project Engineer 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing and executing mechanical engineering projects to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers. Your expertise in mechanical design and project management will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. You will report directly to our Mechanical Project Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: New Hires will report onsite M-F for the first 90 days.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our projects by leading the mechanical design process, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of innovative and reliable solutions. Your ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources will be essential in meeting customer requirements and driving customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nLead and manage mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion\nOversee the mechanical design process and ensure compliance with industry standards\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project scope\nConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies\nCoordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary materials and components\nConduct testing and validation of mechanical systems and components\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics\nProficiency in AutoCAD software and other design tools\nStrong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\nStrong communication and collaboration abilities\n\n

\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field\nExperience in the industrial automation industry\nExperience with Conveyor MHE systems\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment\nFamiliarity with OSHA and CEMA standards\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment\n\n
