Mechanical Project Engineer
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time mechanical project engineer. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise, oversight, and leadership to the mechanical project team; attending client meetings; performing construction phase services; mentoring less experienced staff; and assisting with business development. Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position. The successful candidate must have all of the following: A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering At least eight years of relevant mechanical engineering experience A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following: Designing hot water, chilled water and condenser water systems Designing VAV, Geothermal and/or VRF systems Designing and specifying of DDC control systems Designing mechanical systems for Federal Government projects Sustainable design Designing steam systems Providing commissioning services Designing plumbing systems If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers.
