We are assisting a top-tier engineering contractor specialising in delivering high-quality services for a variety of industries in their search for an experienced Mechanical QA Engineers. With a strong background in mechanical engineering, focus on quality assurance and control, and experience in large-scale projects, the Mechanical QA Engineers will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance procedures for mechanical systems and components in various projects.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will help develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures ensuring quality standards are met throughout construction.
Carry out detailed inspections of mechanical components, systems, installations, and perform various tests to ensure product reliability and safety.
Preparing detailed reports on quality findings and corrective actions ensuring all quality documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Identify defects, issues, and investigate root causes of quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
Conducting supplier audits and assessments ensuring suppliers adhere to quality standards and contractual requirements.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
10 years Mechanical QA/QC experience in Industrial projects with at least 5 years' experience in a lead role.
Data Centre, Piping, and HVAC systems experiences are desirable.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment.
High level of accuracy and thoroughness in inspections and documentation.
Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team.
Excellent communication and organisation skills essential.
