Job Title:  Mechanical QAR – Weld Inspection

We are looking for Mechanical Quality Assurance Reps (QARs) with Weld Inspection experience to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA!

Typical Duties
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.
Oversee subcontractor’s work performance is following the defined quality specification. 
Monitor and maintain the project quality control objectives and Report daily status. Support the subcontractors on any training issuesSource inspections – materialsSupport clients RFI processMake commendation on field issuesProvide daily project progress assessmentsDevelops and analyzes statistical dataEstablish quality and reliability expectancy of finished productFormulates and maintains quality control objectivesMay investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding qualityAdditional responsibilities:Weld inspector per AWS B5.1, in accordance with BPVC Section IXGeneral knowledge of Duct Installations-Torque values, spark tests, installation proceduresAbility to inspect welds on PVDF, PP, PE, PVC, CPVC, SS OrbitalAbility to inspect glue bonded joints on PVC and CPVC systemsExperience with inspection of high-purity and ultra-purity materials is HIGHLY desirable.  Stainless and Plastics.  Computer literate with Excel and Word and comfortable with using the customer portals to find specs and drawings associated with the projectAbility to liaise with the customer and contractors and perform conference callsExperience
Ideal candidate will have 2+ years combined experience in one or more of the following cleanroom market sectors: Semiconductor, Microelectronic, Biotech / Pharmaceutical.  Those with less experience, but within these industries and the needed skill sets, are encouraged to apply!
