We currently have a need for an experienced mechanical source inspector to support in Pevely, Missouri for an on-going contract on-demand ( average 10 hours per week). Long distance travel may be required.

 

Job Description:

 

Perform mechanical inspection using precision measuring devices/instruments at supplier’s facility to verify compliance to drawings, standards/specifications and other PO requirement.Verify material certifications against PO requirements, part marking where required and visually inspect for obvious defects/ damage. Qualifications

Skills Requirement:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on precision mechanical inspection experience is requiredStrong understanding of, and experience with, ANSI Y 14.5 GD&TAbility to read and interpret drawings and basic computer skills are a mustExperience working with tight tolerancesHands-on mechanical inspection experienceMust have experience working with Mil-standardsPrevious source inspection experience
