Mechanical Superintendent

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates. You will lead project administration, ensuring adherence to contract clauses, analyzing reports to identify project deficiencies, and guiding corrective actions. You will manage project compliance, documentation, and safety guidelines, and navigate through the requirements of various governing agencies. Additionally, you will financially manage projects, monitor expenses, support collections, and oversee the preparation and communication for monthly backlog reviews with leadership. Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings, and establishing customer expectations. Manage risks, develop mitigation plans, utilize qualified subcontractors, oversee the subcontractor RFQ process, award subcontracts, manage subcontractor execution, and establish communication guidelines for project progress and safety.

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES:

Commercial construction experience - ground-up, renovation, or build-outs from a major General ContractorHVAC Mechanical and electrical experienceProject managementFinancial managementRisk management

Work Environment:

Worksites are located throughout Palm Beach County, from Indian River County to West Palm Beach. Superintendents must be flexible with their schedules, including the potential need to work on weekends based on project requirements.
