Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanicl Supervisor to join our team!

Completes a wide variety of mechanical inter-dependent engineering assignments from water, wastewater, process piping, plumbing, HVAC and applying engineering techniques from post FEED package to construction execution. The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the theory and practices. Some assignments may involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations, is expected.

What You'll Be Doing:

Performs expected engineering tasks post FEED and particularly expediting sub-contractor engineering work efficiently and accurately in necessary work packs ready for RFQ to construction execution.

Extracts engineering information from Consultant IFC CAD drawings.

Material quantity takeoffs, estimates check against Contractor RFQ.

Completes a variety of assignments such as IFC interpretation where needed, RFI from Contractor with regards to constructability, and any other activities to expedite Contractor workflows necessary for procurement to construction work.

Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.

Expedite es detailed requisitions for equipment and materials by Contractor.

Participates and reviews supplier / vendor drawing submittals.

Reviews specifications, data sheets, and other Contractor Shop Drawing for construction documents.

Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers of Contractor.

May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering related matters.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field) and typically 10+ years of related work experience. Saudi Council of Engineers membership as Mechanical Engineer is mandatory.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
