Mechanical Supervisor - Shutdown

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for an upcoming shutdown in May 2025.
The role of Mechanical Supervisor will see you working Night Shift roster in the Gladstone region, based on Curtis Island, working closely with the SMP Coordinator to carry out a wide range of activities from planning, coordinating and supervising daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance requirements of the project are met.

Key responsibilities will include:Allocate work and provide direction to relevant trades specific work requirements.Supervise, coach and mentor direct reports; ensure that site workers have the necessary competencies to undertake assigned tasks.Communicate with client representatives on a day-to-day basis, to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required. What you will bringSite based experience in the Oil and Gas industry (highly regarded)Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate. Demonstrable experience in a supervisory role within the resources or construction sector.Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment.Proof of right to work in Australia.
