Our client, a leading Engineering Contractor with a mission to deliver premium services within a variety of sectors across Europe, is urgently looking for experienced Mechanical Supervisors for a Data Centre project. With strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in mechanical systems, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all mechanical activities, ensuring that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This offer is available under the terms of a Netherlands/UK contract, EU/Netherlands resident permit holders are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Oversee the day-to-day activities ensuring that all mechanical work is performed safely, on time, and to the required standards.
Oversee & verify the quality of mechanical installations, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and safety regulations.
Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols & perform briefings, ensuring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process, such as design discrepancies, material shortages, or unforeseen obstacles.
Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Site Managers & Project Managers, highlighting key achievements, issues, and next steps.
Ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are available on-site and in good working condition to avoid any disruptions to the workflow.
Act as the primary point of contact for all mechanical-related matters on-site.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that expectations are met, and any issues are promptly addressed.
Degree/qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Significant years of experience in mechanical supervision within large-scale Data Centre projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, installation methods, and safety standards.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
