**Mechanical Technician** **Job Description** Candidates will work in the assembly department, required to read blueprints and assemble parts according to specifications. The parts vary in size from 1 foot to the size of a railroad car. A general understanding of assembly, the ability to read wiring diagrams, and the capability to troubleshoot and problem-solve are extremely important. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints to assemble parts according to specifications. + Assemble various custom parts based on client orders. + Utilize power tools, hand tools, and measuring tools effectively. + Read wiring diagrams and perform electrical assembly. + Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues as they arise. + Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in assembly and blueprint reading. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. + Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and measuring tools. + Strong mechanical aptitude. **Why Work Here?** Join a diverse and close-knit team in a laid-back atmosphere where culture is highly valued. The team is large and very close-knit, fostering a diverse culture. The dress code includes steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, long pants, and a professional shirt (no sleeveless shirts). Assemblers will be split between 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) and 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm), with more needed on 2nd shift.
