Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Technician to support cutting-edge robotic systems. This individual will play a crucial role in the testing and data recording processes by managing the loading, running, and unloading of boxes on the automated machines. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, possess troubleshooting skills, and have some experience with similar systems.
ResponsibilitiesInterface with Robotic Technology: Load boxes onto the machine, run the technology, and remove boxes post-process.Data Recording: Accurately record data from each test run, ensuring precise documentation for analysis.Collaborative Testing: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, to execute various test scenarios.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues to ensure smooth operation of the robotic system.Python Utilization: Utilize Python scripts for data analysis and system interface.Essential SkillsMechanical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to understand and work with mechanical systems.Troubleshooting Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and fixing mechanical problems.Python Experience: Basic knowledge of Python for data analysis and interface purposes.Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to accurate data recording and reporting.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with electrical systems.Previous experience in a testing environment.Work Environment
This role is located in a fulfillment center in North Andover, MA. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn and work cross-functionally with talented engineers on new technology, allowing for skill set growth and professional development.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
