The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Technician to join our machine shop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical principles, hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools, and a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment


Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components.Work closely with our team of engineers and technicians to fabricate, assemble, and test prototypes and production-ready parts

Qualifications:

Required: 

Current DOD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.Experience in a machine shop or related environmentStrong understanding of mechanical principles and conceptsHands-on experience with hand tools and power toolsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematicsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift to 50 pounds and stand for long periodsFamiliarity with safety protocols and best practices in a machine shop environment

Desired:

Current Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCICertificate in a mechanical-related field (e.g., machining, engineering technology)Experience with CNC machines, 3D printing, or other advanced manufacturing technologiesKnowledge of mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Mastercam)Familiarity with quality control and inspection proceduresExperience with lean manufacturing principles and practices

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,900 - 79,900 USD
