**Job Title: Mechanical Technician** **Job Description** You will be performing mechanical technician tasks on valves and various other mechanical components. You will use hand and power tools and work around cranes to support moving parts. Your responsibilities will include taking apart, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling mechanical components. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical technician work on valves and other mechanical components + Use hand and power tools effectively + Work around cranes to support moving parts + Take apart, clean, inspect, and reassemble mechanical components **Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency with basic hand and power tools + Mechanical inclination + Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues + Experience with valves and other mechanical components + Capability to work outside and on large machines, including construction, shipyard, cranes, rigging, and hoists **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with cranes + Knowledge of rigging + Familiarity with hoists **Work Environment** You will work both outdoors and indoors in a shipyard environment. The day shift is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for additional hours as needed.
