Job Summary

Carry out Mechanical Maintenance and Utilities activities in both Taste and Scent production plants, under the guidance of the Lead Mechanical Technician. These tasks will be a combination of preventative work and reactive repairs. You will also support the delivery of other engineering works and improvements on site from conception to completion as directed by Maintenance Management.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all of your work activities are carried out safely, and in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also ensure that Engineering Systems are accurately maintained, critical spares are identified and contribute towards improvement in a proactive way.

The Maintenance Department is a site service (Taste and Scent Divisions) and this role includes supporting 24/7 operations through an on-call standby rota. Working pattern is Monday-Friday (full days) and being part of a six-weekly call-out rota and routine weekend cover.
