Tasks to be Accomplished
Assemble, repair, rework and/or troubleshoot complex electromechanical assembliesMaintenance of system file and tracking assembly documentsEnsure all tasks are completed to customer’s required delivery dateGenerate Non-Conformance ReportsSkills Required
Strong Electronics and Mechanical background including assembly, tuning and troubleshooting Electronic/Mechanical devicesFamiliarity with reading and understanding technical drawings and schematicsThorough understanding of techniques in the use of hand tools, soldering, crimping and measurement equipmentExcellent manual dexterityStrong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environmentNavigate through ERP systemStrong customer service acumenExperience & Education Requirements
3 - 5 years experience in the Mechanical and Electronics fieldPrevious experience working in ISO9000, MIL-STD, AS 9100 environmentExperience with Lean Manufacturing an assetCommunity College Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical technology or equivalentL3Harris performs background checks prior to employment as all applicants must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program and obtain and maintain a positive security assessment. Some positions may require a government of Canada “Reliability” status and/or Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
