About the Contract   

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities. Ventia has been awarded a new water contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance along with Electrical, Mechanical and Instrumentational services across the Seqwater network.   

 

Ventia will provide service excellence across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.

About the Role   

 

The Mechanical Trades purpose is to deliver workorders including fault finding, repairs and servicing and renewals of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.  

**Candidates must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process**  

 

Key Responsibilities 

Perform and deliver allocated Mechanical workorders from maintenance plan    Service, repair and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes& winches etc   Perform administrative tasks and document work progression in the computerised maintenance management system. (CMMS)     Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network including attendance of  Pre-start meetings    Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and procedures    Reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.  

 

About you  

Experience Mechanical Trade across large maintenance programs and networks   Experience servicing technical mechanical assets actuators, gearboxes and pumps  Current C Class Driver Licence  Trade Mechanical certificate  Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)  Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)  Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)  Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205,MSMPER200 (3-year validity)  Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)
