Job Responsibilities

Develop electromechanical designs with computer and sensing systems and integrate them into different platforms. Perform requirements gathering, concept generation, detailed design with analysis, verification testing, and cross-functional reviews. Work with multidisciplinary project-based teams to explore new opportunities and transfer designs and manufacturing for use in other alternative applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or related engineering field or foreign academic equivalent. 2 years of related experience. Required skills: Perform requirements gathering, concept generation, and cross-functional reviews using Jira, confluence, block diagram, and slide show tools (2 years) Design, debug, integrate sensors, electronics, computers using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and communication bus decoder tools (2 years) Design and build mechanical, electrical, and harness assemblies with computer-aided design tools (2 years)  Troubleshoot and diagnose software and network issues with Unix operating system tools (1 year) Write, test, and deploy software using an integrated development environment and repository management tools (1 year).  20% domestic travel; may work remotely; periodic time in the office required; must live within commuting distance of the office.
